Mourning [A] BLKstar is a group that WILL make you stop and think. This musical composite defies genre, yet allows their influences to shine through loud and clear. Pretty damn cool that they laid down these two heavy tracks for us in an EarthQuaker Session. Afterneath adds texture to the appropriately crafted guitar sequences in "Black Water", and you truly get to hear the dimensional shimmer that can be added to a trumpet with Transmisser. DO try this at home! Space Spiral & Hummingbird make an appearance on "At the Wall", whilst Organizer liquifies octave trumpet vibe. Of course the tried-and-true Dispatch Master adds all the reverb it can muster for the trombone during both tracks.
