“EarthQuaker Devices’ Spatial Delivery pedal really brought what I needed to fit my bass in this tune I was working on that really gave it an identity all its own, cuz I believe it brought out what it was in my playing that made it become manifest. What I mean is that rather than a “costume” to wear as a disguise it was more of a “lens” to help Watt appear more as himself in a kind of parallel universe sort of way.
