Legendary Engineer and producer Sylvia Massy is back at the Microphone Museum for Episode 4 of Studio Go Boom! This time out Massy shows us several totally tubular shotgun microphones spanning nearly a century of recording. Then the Mad Professor of Sonics gets literal and creates a shotgun mic with- you guessed it- an actual shotgun and a small shotgun shell shaped mic pointed directly at Starcrawler’s Henri Cash as he jams on his guitar through an EarthQuaker Devices Park Fuzz and the EQD/Death By Audio collaboration Time Shadows pedals.
