EQD on Record : October 2022

While we are often devastated about the end of summer - we’re talking a daily crying sesh as soon as Labor Day is over (yeah, we should talk to someone, we know) - there is one thing that puts a smile on our pasty faces, and that’s the promise of September album releases. September is a notoriously good month for new music, but holy moly was last month one for the books, with new albums from Sudan Archives, Starcrawler, The Beths, Death Cab For Cutie and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs…and a super deluxe edition of Wilco’s Yankee Hotel Foxtrot!

Not coincidentally, today is Bandcamp Friday, when 93% of your money reaches the artist/label (after payment processor fees). On regular days, it’s 82%, so, ya know, today would be an amazing day to show these artists how much you love them (with your wallet)!

Wilco – Yankee Hotel Foxtrot Deluxe Edition
Nonesuch Records
Okay, so Yankee Hotel Foxtrot originally came out in 2001, when the first EarthQuaker Device was but a glint in Jamie Stillman’s eye, but Wilco started using our pedals shortly after, and we are unabashedly huge, enormous Wilco fans, so we wanted to shout out this incredible 11 LP super deluxe box set of one of our favorite albums of, like, ever.
