Wilco / The Nels Cline 4 / CUP

The lovely folks at EarthQuaker Devices have turned me on to a dreamy heap of their creative efforts. I have used and enjoyed The Warden, the Terminal, and the Dispatch Master, but these three have found the most frequent uses in my sick sonic searches:
Aqueduct: my favorite. Many cool vibrato/wiggly/wobbly sounds that can either subtly color one’s sound with controllable wow & flutter or go fully mad with warbly wonders. There’s more than a little Aqueduct on the upcoming Wilco alb, by the way...

Arpanoid : Okay, this pedal is pretty goofy, but also completely unique and (crucially) FUN. I often like it on setting #8, sped way up with no dry guitar signal, and one can hear me use it on the recently-released 4 CD set “Quartet (New Haven) 2014” by Anthony Braxton.

Afterneath: I use this last in my chain when I desire swirling slabs of Goth-verb. It sounds great coloring some psych loop I’ve created, sending the loop or whatever noises I make into the luminescent lair of Loki or...something!”
