Excellent review of the Tone Reaper with clips and all at whatsthatdudeplay.com!

I've made some changes to the Monarch. These changes slighty reduce the gain to give it more clean range and smooth out the treble. All Monarch after #089 have these changes in place. I'm going to re-write the user manual soon, as I don't think it's very clear. The short of it is, think of the monarch as a treble booster and bass booster rolled into one. You can use it as a stand alone overdrive but, due to the massive amount of output on tap, you might find it more appealing as an EQ/Booster tool into a already overdriven amp or after other OD pedals. It's a pretty unique pedal, nothing on the web has really correctly shown the feel of the pedal yet but I'm working on it. It really is the type of thing you need to play around with in your own rig.

Couple new devices, changes to the site and a few pretty cool surprises coming soon!

2.11.10
Some user clips of the monarch can be found here. Not sure of the set up or how it was recorded but it gives a different taste. Thanks Jason! I'm going to get some more in-depth clips recorded in the next couple days.

2.9.10
Monarchs on the way to Tone Factor, Analogue Haven and Fat Tone Guitars!

I recorded myself noodling with the Monarch today. The clip is room mic'd so you don't get the "uumph" from the low end but it'll give you some idea of what this thing sounds like. Guitar was a strat, starts in the bridge and ends on the neck. Amp was a top hat 2x12 set clean with an even EQ.

A little late on shipping Monarchs out to dealers, a majority of them are going out tomorrow with the rest to follow throughout the week. You can get them right now from these two dealers:

Noisebug
Prymaxe

Been too busy assembling to record clips but I will get this done asap!

2.2.10
Monarch is up on the site! Clips coming soon.

Rainbow Guitars have a shipment on the way, Monarchs are included!

1.31.10
Leaked a few Monarch Overdrives out on friday. Noise Bug and Prymaxe will have them early this week, all others to follow. I'll post pics, info and clips to the site shortly. It should be noted that the first 75 or so were painted and decaled by hand before the screened and powder coated enclosures show up.

1.7.10
Hope everyone had a good holiday! "Monarch" OD has had it's final tweaks and I'm about to start production. I know there are no shortage of OD's in the world but I'm still really excited about this one! As I said before, it takes elements of my favorite amps (bassman 50, JTM45 and Graphic MKII) and condenses them down into a small foot-friendly format. It's a real killer. I've also been working on 4 new designs simultaneously (I don't recommend this practice to anyone but the Ohio winter gives me little else to do!) and a few are coming together faster than I thought. Keep your eyes peeled in the coming months...

New videos have been added to the video page, including a really cool "artists rendering" video of the ghost echo. I haven't been working with PGS for close to 8 months now and their videos were finally pulled. Bummer.

I've also added a few new dealers in the last few weeks, check 'em out:

Netherlands
Guitarplayer

USA
Stompbox Sonic
Rainbow Guitars (Shipment coming soon)

I'll be back after the Monarch has been set free.
